The SABO machine factory in Gummersbach is one of Germany’s leading companies in the field of lawn and property care. Experience gained over more than six decades is built into every product, and the name SABO stands for high quality and reliability.
Scrollytelling tells a story in a distinctive way. It is a one-pager that contains no navigation elements, banners, or sidebars. The user moves through the linear narrative simply by scrolling.
Text, images, and video form a cohesive whole and merge into an overarching concept – guiding the user step by step through the website.
For SABO’s scrollytelling project, we showcased the 43C model: we deliberately combined text and 3D animations to clearly communicate the lawn mower’s features. The 3D animations, in particular, explain the device’s functions in a clear and accessible way, without getting lost in technical detail.
Short, concise texts provide supporting information. The result? A dynamic application that’s fun to use and looks great.
